You can write text notes, record voice notes, create drawing notes, and capture photos and videos with the camera. Text notes can include audio recordings.

You do not need to create a Secured24 account. Optional iCloud backup and restore use the Apple Account signed in on your device.

You can create and read locally saved content without an internet connection. iCloud backup and restore, App Store purchases and purchase restoration, loading ads, and sending support emails use online services.

You can choose English, Spanish, French, German, or Turkish in Settings. Secured24 also includes visual themes; additional themes are available through in-app purchases.

Note text and attachments saved on your device use AES-256-GCM encryption. The app stores local encryption keys in the iOS Keychain. The app decrypts content as needed for display or playback.

If you use iCloud backup, eligible content and recovery information are also stored in your private iCloud database. Read How does iCloud backup work? and the Privacy Policy for details.

You can add a lock to individual notes and media items. Opening locked content uses Apple device authentication: Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, depending on your device and settings.

If an item will not unlock, check Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode settings on your device. Secured24 uses your device authentication rather than a separate app PIN.

Choose a timer of 1, 6, 12, or 24 hours. Secured24 checks for expired content while the app is running and removes it during cleanup. If the item is open when its timer expires, it can remain visible until you return to the list. An exact deletion time while the app is closed is not guaranteed.

The content-control upgrade or features bundle unlocks Extend and Make Permanent. Make Permanent removes the timer and locks the item. Learn about purchases.

Library contains notes and media without self-destruct timers. Open Timed Notes or Timed Media to find content with an active timer. Locked items require authentication to open.

In Settings, open Manage iCloud Backup under Backup & Restore, then tap Back Up Now. Backups run when you start them; changes are not synchronized automatically.

Only unlocked notes and media without expiry timers are included. The backup includes eligible content and the recovery information needed to restore it.

Sign in to the Apple Account used for the backup and connect to the internet. In Settings, open Manage iCloud Backup under Backup & Restore, then tap Restore Backup. Wait for the result before leaving the app.

If an item already exists on your device, a successful restore of that item replaces it with the version in the backup. Items that are not in the backup remain unchanged.

If a backup or restore fails, check your connection, iCloud availability, and available storage, then try again. Contact support if the issue continues.

Deleting an item from your device does not immediately remove its existing iCloud copy. A later successful backup removes cloud content that is missing from the device or is no longer eligible, including locked and timed items.

The free version lets you create up to 30 notes and 60 media items and includes ads. Optional purchases remove content limits, unlock themes, remove ads, or add the Panic, Extend, and Make Permanent controls. A bundle includes these additional features.

Open Market and use the restore-purchases button with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Make sure you are connected to the internet. Restoring purchases restores eligible purchases; it does not restore your notes or media.

You can review tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The app requests non-personalized ads when tracking permission is not granted; this does not stop all ad-related data processing.

The ad-removal purchase or features bundle removes ads from the app. These purchases do not disable Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics. See the advertising section of our Privacy Policy.
